A family owned and operated business in the 1950’s manufacturing small engine components, to innovating the Tiger rubber tire wheel dozer which is today the Caterpillar 844 and 854. In 2008, Tiger Engineering Pty Ltd rebranded to Hydex and started manufacturing a range of solutions for Articulated and Rigid frame trucks. 

Today, we are still family owned producing some of the largest equipment on earth. Hydex listens and understand your every need, which ensures every aspect of your fully customised rig will perform to the highest standard whilst working in the most difficult environments.

Our head office, manufacturing, engineering and parts distribution is located in Bishop’s Stortford, England. 

We also operate regional parts, sales and product support locations in Bellevue, Washington - Perth, Western Australia and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
