At HydraSafe® Brake, we saw a critical need in the industry for a more effective solution to prevent ascending car movement and unintended motion—and we delivered. Unlike conventional hoist rope braking devices, HydraSafe® Brake is uniquely mounted on the car, gripping the rail where it matters most. Designed for both traction and hydraulic elevators, our innovative technology enhances safety, compliance, and reliability across all applications.

With over a decade of engineering excellence and a leadership team with hands-on elevator industry experience, we develop practical, code-compliant solutions to meet the ever-growing safety demands. Our Unintended/Ascending Movement Devices, Plus Units with DLM features, and UCM controls exceed global standards, including ASME A17.1, EN 81, and other regulations, ensuring elevator travel is safer than ever.

At HydraSafe® Brake, we believe safety isn’t just a requirement—it’s a responsibility. Join us in our mission to eliminate elevator accidents and elevate industry standards.
