Matthew Nayna

Matthew Nayna is a Principal Mechanical Engineer based in Melbourne with extensive experience in product design across the medical, automotive, and consumer electronics sectors. They previously held positions at Tesla and Philips, where they contributed to high-volume manufacturing and innovative product development, including wearables and a total artificial heart. Since moving from the US in 2019, Matthew has focused on medical technology, amassing seven patents and continually pursuing roles in concept generation and prototyping. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in product design from Swinburne University of Technology and has completed advanced training in injection molding and product development.
