Hydro-Ease is Northern Ireland’s first dedicated floatation centre, offering Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy through spacious two-person floatation cabins. Created as a sanctuary for tranquillity, deep relaxation and healing, we provide a unique environment where you can disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself.

Floatation invites you to rest weightlessly in warm water enriched with Epsom salts, allowing the body and mind to experience complete release. Blood pressure, heart rate and pulse naturally settle, creating immediate physical relief and deep mental restoration.

Floatation supports the body by easing the symptoms of chronic pain, muscular tension, arthritis, fibromyalgia and sports injuries through gravity-free rest and repair. It nurtures the mind by slowing brain waves, calming mental chatter and supporting conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD and ADHD, empowering the self by offering a space for reconnection, intuition, creativity and purpose—helping you explore life with renewed clarity and expanded awareness.

Hydro-Ease is a centre of excellence in using floatation for trauma recovery and post-traumatic growth. The float environment allows the nervous system to reset, helping individuals move gently through somatic awareness and into states where healing, integration and growth can take place. Floatation provides the perfect setting for expanded consciousness and deeper connection to self.
Central to Hydro-Ease is the pioneering RAFT programme—Reconnection, And Floatation Therapy. This powerful process combines floatation with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, addressing the root causes of trauma while creating sustainable change.
Hydro-Ease was founded by Vivian McKinnon, a leading voice in wellbeing trauma recovery and floatation.

Vivian’s vision ensures that Hydro-Ease is not just a float centre—it is a place of safety, healing and growth, where people can reconnect, restore and transform.
