Imranul Karim

Imranul Karim is an experienced professional in the field of estimating and project management, currently serving as Estimating Manager for Transmission and Station at Hydro One since October 2018. Prior to this role, Imranul held the position of Estimator at Burns & McDonnell, focusing on Hydro One projects and utilizing Sage Timberline 3000 software. Previous experiences include roles as Intermediate Estimate Engineer and Junior Estimate Technical Professional at SNC-Lavalin T&D, where Imranul was involved in preparing Class 1 and Class 2 estimates, high-level designs, and engineering sketches. Early career experience includes a position as Network System Engineer at Huawei Technologies Ltd, where responsibilities included estimating hardware specifications and managing requisitions. Imranul holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from the Islamic University of Technology.
