Kris Wentzel

Kris Wentzel has a strong background in risk management and internal audit services. From 2019 to present, Kris has been serving as the Vice President of Risk & Internal Audit Services at Hydro One. Prior to this, Kris worked at Deloitte Canada for 17 years, starting in 2002 as a Partner and eventually becoming the National Leader for Internal Audit and Control Certification. During this time, Kris played a key role in innovating Deloitte's internal audit services and methodologies. Kris also represented the Americas on Deloitte's Global Internal Audit Leadership Team. Before joining Deloitte, Kris worked as a Consultant at Andersen from 2001 to 2002.

Kris Wentzel attended the University of Waterloo from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Accounting degree with a specialization in Accounting. In addition, they earned certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor from the IIA in 2004 and as a Chartered Accountant from the ICAO in 2003.
