Mark Skrela, P.Eng, is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on distribution investment planning and reliability improvement at Hydro One since January 2013. Currently serving as a Distribution Investment Planner, Mark manages the Distribution Residential Reliability Improvement Program, implementing Behind the Meter Residential Battery Energy Storage Systems to enhance customer power reliability. Prior roles at Hydro One include Sr. Metering Engineer, Meter Data & Network Specialist, and Network Analyst across various functions. Earlier experience includes positions at Hatch as an Electrical Engineer (EIT) and as an Audio Test Engineer intern at Research In Motion. Mark holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in Power Systems from McMaster University and a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology from Sheridan College.
