Michael Duncan currently serves as an Area Distribution Engineering Technician (ADET) at Hydro One, starting in February 2024. Previously, Michael held significant roles at London Hydro from July 2012 to March 2024, including Lead Electrical Engineering Technologist and Electrical Engineering Technologist, where responsibilities included designing electrical systems for overhead and underground infrastructure in London, Ontario, as well as providing estimates for commercial service upgrades. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Engineering Technologist at Stantec, where Michael contributed to various electrical designs, client interactions, photometric analysis for street lighting, and project coordination. Michael also served as a Herdsman at DairyDale Farms Ltd, managing dairy operations and equipment maintenance, and briefly worked as a Meter Technician for Festival Hydro, installing smart meters and engaging with homeowners. Michael earned an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, following a high school education at Woodstock Collegiate Institute.
