Mathieu Bouchard

Mathieu Bouchard has over a decade of experience in electrical and automation engineering across various roles. Currently serving as a Technicien Automatisme and Technicien chef de groupe électrique Projet at Hydro-Québec since March 2018, Mathieu specializes in the engineering of electrical distribution networks. Prior to this, Mathieu worked at Bombardier Transport as a Technicien aux essais électriques, focusing on commissioning and testing control systems for railway equipment. Experience also includes a role as Technicien à l'entretien d'équipements at Gaz Metro Solution Transport, managing maintenance and operation of liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas equipment. Mathieu's background features project and workforce management at Expertech, alongside roles in fiber optic network installation and maintenance of water treatment systems at Traitements Intel'eau. Earlier experience includes working as a Field Engineer at Optel Vision, handling the installation and repair of quality control systems for packaging lines. Mathieu holds a DEC in Génie électrique with a focus on Instrumentation and Automation from Cégep de Trois-Rivières.
