Patrick Raynauld

Patrick Raynauld, CFA, FRM, CAIA, C.Dir, has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as the General Manager and Chief Investment Officer of the Hydro-Quebec Pension Fund, overseeing a fund with 32 billion CAD in assets under management and achieving top decile performance over 15 years. Raynauld has held various roles within Hydro-Quebec Pension Fund, including Head of Internal Management and Senior Manager of Operations and Derivatives. In addition to current engagements at the Montréal Exchange and as a member of investment committees at Université de Montréal and Université du Québec à Montréal, Raynauld previously contributed to the Autorité des marchés financiers (Québec) as a member of the Derivatives Advisory Committee. Education includes a Master of Science in Finance from HEC Montréal and additional executive education in negotiation from Harvard University, along with a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and ongoing studies at Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
