Jared Carkin

Vice President Of Preconstruction at Hydro-Temp Mechanical

Jared Carkin has extensive work experience in the plumbing and mechanical industry. Jared started their career as an Apprentice Plumber at Petro Plumbing in 2003, where they focused on learning to install plumbing systems efficiently. Jared then moved on to HydroTemp Mechanical in 2005, initially as an Apprentice Plumber and later as a Journeyman Plumber. In 2007, they joined Hydro-Temp Mechanical as an Estimator, where they were responsible for estimating project costs. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Lead Estimator at HydroTemp Mechanical, where they further honed their skills in cost estimation. Most recently, Jared became the Vice President of Preconstruction at Hydro-Temp Mechanical in 2019, showcasing their expertise and leadership in overseeing preconstruction operations.

Jared Carkin completed their education at various community colleges. Jared obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Industrial Technology from Clackamas Community College, specializing in Construction, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a License in Plumbing, also at Clackamas Community College, from 2003 to 2008. In 1998-1999, they briefly attended Chemeketa Community College but did not obtain a degree, focusing on Microelectronics.
