Thomas Maloney

Thomas Maloney is a Senior Fire Engineer at Hydrock, now Stantec, and a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. They previously held positions as a Fire Engineer and Graduate Fire Engineer at AECOM from 2023 to 2025. Additionally, they served as a STEM Ambassador from 2019 to 2020 and completed a Mechanical Engineering internship at Rolls-Royce during the same period. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as a Sales Assistant at Next and a Stores Technician at Thermal Detection Limited in 2018. They earned their Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2021.
