Andreas Kohlhepp

Andreas Kohlhepp is an experienced engineering professional specializing in hydrogen handling technology. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Front End Design for Hydrogenious LOHC, Andreas leads the pre-development of cutting-edge plant concepts and oversees project scoping and system engineering. Prior roles at Hydrogenious include Head of Front End Design and Head of Pre-Engineering. Andreas also led construction teams focused on hydrogen handling systems. Previously, Andreas worked as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München, conducting experimental and theoretical research on heat transfer in transient pipe flows. Earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Engineering Engineer at E.ON, where responsibilities encompassed machine diagnostics and project leadership. Andreas holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology from Technische Universität Dresden and a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) from Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt.
