Sam Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in people and workplace management. Currently serving as the VP of People & Culture at Hydrolix since July 2025, Sam previously held various senior positions at Fastly from January 2014 to July 2025, including Director of Global Workplace Experience and Director of Workplace, People & International Operations. Early career highlights include roles at Landmark Group (UK) Ltd as Chief of Staff and at ICSA Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators as Facilities and HR Supervisor. Sam's foundation in the industry began in recruitment and production coordination, alongside academic achievements, including a BA in Drama from the University of Exeter and an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
