Robert Smith

Robert Smith serves as the President of Hydronalix, conducting high-level interactions with Admirals, Generals, and senior executives within the Department of Defense and various federal and state agencies. With a focus on increasing small business participation in the Department of the Navy’s research programs, Robert recommends policy initiatives and implements changes that align with the needs of stakeholders, including military leaders and industry partners. Previously, Robert held significant roles as Director of the Department of the Navy’s SBIR/STTR program and as Director of Technology Transition Initiatives at the Office of Naval Research. Robert’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
