Rick Chartrand

Rick Chartrand is a mathematician, applied scientist, and data scientist with a robust background in both pure and applied mathematics. They served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Middlebury College, focusing on teaching and research in pure mathematics, before taking on roles at prestigious institutions including Los Alamos National Laboratory and Descartes Labs, where they co-founded the Applied Science team. Currently, Rick is a Senior Scientist at Hydrosat, continuing to leverage their expertise in algorithm development and data analysis. They hold a B.Sc. with honors in Mathematics from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
