The Hydrosense Legionella testing system is the fastest Legionella test in the world. Our rapid Legionella tests were developed by scientific experts and independently validated for Legionella testing in high-risk areas such as hospitality, cooling towers, hospitals and care homes, spas pools and fountains, shipping, and domestic water systems to name a few.

The Hydrosense range includes tests for both water and biofilm, giving accurate results in just 25 minutes. Convenient and incredibly easy to use makes Hydrosense rapid Legionella test kits the first choice for companies where customer and employee safety is a priority; where there are vulnerable inhabitants, where facilities are in remote locations, and where brand reputation is critical.

Legionnaires' disease (LD) caused by Legionella bacteria can be deadly and the death rate of community-acquired LD is 10%, in healthcare settings it is as high as 25%. Protecting human life from this bacteria starts with knowing it is present in the water system.

Benefits of Hydrosense Legionella rapid test kits:
World Leading - it's the world's fastest Legionella test so no need to wait 10 days for lab results.
Fast - it gives results in just 25 minutes.
Accurate - it detects VBNC (Viable but non-culturable) Legionella that lab culture will miss.
Onsite: it is carried out on site so no transport of samples to a lab and the engineer can take action immediately to protect people if the test provides a positive result.
Easy to use self-test: Anyone can carry out the test, no specialist training is required.
App support - The Hydrosense App scans and reads the tests and alerts duty managers automatically. Data is securely stored in the portal, providing a robust dataset for future risk analysis.
