Mark Carter

Mark Carter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software product management, corporate development, and operational leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Software Product Manager at Hygiena since May 2021, Mark also holds the position of President at MC Squared, a consulting firm specializing in technology, quality, safety, and business interests since October 2010. As the Owner of Lace It Up Sports, Mark focuses on fostering youth development through athletics. Previously, Mark was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer at Matrix Sciences, where responsibilities included driving M&A activities and overseeing operations. Mark's background also includes leadership roles as CEO of QC Laboratories and Corporate Vice President of Research and Development at Silliker. Earlier in their career, Mark held managerial positions at Kraft Foods, McKee Foods Corporation, and Celsis. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Administration from Columbus State University.
