The Internet: A World of Possibilities, But Beware of the Dangers!
The Internet and digital tools have become essential in the lives of our young people. They open up a world of knowledge, communication and entertainment. But beware: behind this screen also lurk dangers.

Digital hygiene is like washing your hands for the virtual world! It is a set of simple and daily actions to protect yourself online:

Learn to protect yourself from dangers: harassment, shocking content, scams... the Internet is not always a rosy world!
Surf with respect: do not spread false information or nasty content, respect the identity of others...
Stay in control of your screen time: too much screen time is not good for your health!
Talk to parents and trusted adults: to ask questions and seek advice in case of problems.
Together, let's give young people the keys to a positive and responsible digital experience!

Remember: digital hygiene is everyone's business! Parents, educators, institutions... everyone has a role to play in raising awareness and supporting young people in their exploration of the digital world.

By working together, we can make the Internet a safe and enriching space for all young people!

Here are some additional points that you may want to consider:

Use strong and unique passwords for all of your online accounts.
Be careful about what you share online, including personal information and photos.
Be wary of strangers online, and never meet up with someone you only know from the Internet in person.
Report any cyberbullying or other online abuse to the appropriate authorities.
By following these tips, you can help keep your children safe online.
