Lara Queiroz

Lara Queiroz has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Lara began their career as a Research Intern at IPATIMUP, where they conducted research on Human Genetics. In 2013, they completed a Summer Internship Program at Banco de Portugal (Portuguese Central Bank) in the Department of Statistics. From 2014 to 2017, Lara worked as a Consultant at EY, providing Tax and Incentives Consulting Services to corporate clients. Lara then moved on to APDES - Agência Piaget para o Desenvolvimento, where they served as Financial Manager, responsible for project financial management. In 2019, Lara became Equity Manager at Banco Português de Fomento, planning, designing, and implementing Financial Instruments of Equity or Quasi-Equity. Currently, they are the Head Of Finance at UpLink.

Lara Queiroz has a diverse educational background. Lara completed a Development Programme at the Paris School of Economics in 2019. Lara then went on to complete an MBA Essentials at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2019. Lara has a degree in Economics from FEP U. Porto – Economics and Management, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they have a degree in Biology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Lara also has certifications in Advanced Excel and Macros from CESAE - Centro de Serviços e Apoio às Empresas, Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorism Financing from Instituto de Formação Bancária (IFB), Project Management from Engenho & Obra, ONGD, Tax and Incentives from EY Academy of Business, and VBA for Excel from CESAE - Centro de Serviços e Apoio às Empresas.
