Yuchen Jin is a technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning and compiler development. As Co-Founder and CTO at Hyperbolic since March 2023, Yuchen continues to drive innovation. Previously, Yuchen served as Sr. Engineering Manager/Tech Lead at OctoML, leading a team that advanced solutions for the emerging needs of Apache TVM, including the development of Relax, a next-generation graph-level language. Yuchen's background includes roles as Engineering Manager/Tech Lead and Senior MLSys Engineer at the University of Washington, alongside research internships at ByteDance and Microsoft, where significant contributions were made in optimizing deep neural network training and automatic fault localization in autonomous systems. Yuchen holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
