Joseph Choi

Joseph Choi has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and academic fields. Joseph started their career as a Resident Physician in Emergency Medicine at McGill University Health Centre, where they served as Chief Resident from 2012-2013. In 2015, they joined University Health Network as a Staff Physician and later became the Quality Improvement Lead in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Joseph co-founded Hypercare in 2017 and held multiple roles including Chief Medical Officer and Interim Chief Operating Officer. Joseph also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto starting in 2016 and as a Clinician Investigator at Toronto General Hospital Research Institute starting in 2019. Overall, Joseph Choi has a strong background in emergency medicine, quality improvement, and academic research.
