Ray Knight

Ray Knight has extensive work experience as a software engineer and frontend architect. In their current role as the Lead Frontend Engineer at Hypergiant, they are responsible for supporting critical features of an application dedicated to the safety and protection of life for the Department of Defense. Ray provides technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews.

Prior to their current position, Ray worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Coinbase, where they led a tooling initiative to support internal engineers and customer service agents. Ray also contributed to the development of in-house libraries.

Ray has also held roles as a Senior Frontend Architect at GenUI, where they focused on product development and professional growth. Ray worked as a Senior Web Developer at Indigo Slate, Fell Swoop, Blue Rooster Inc., IdentityMine, Hornall Anderson, and Zaaz, gaining experience in various web development projects and platforms. In these roles, they worked on UX prototypes, design specifications, and marketing websites, and also gained expertise in CMS platforms like Sharepoint and Sitecore.
