Ankit Gupta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the materials and technology sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Country Manager at Hyperion Materials & Technologies since July 2018, Ankit has successfully led startup operations in India, focusing on P&L responsibility and fostering high-performing teams. Prior to this role, Ankit held the position of Associate Vice President at Sandvik from December 2012 to June 2018, where sales functions across India were led, achieving consistent double-digit growth. Ankit's earlier experience with Sandvik Asia Ltd includes roles as Product Manager for India and South East Asia and Sr. Product Engineer, emphasizing product strategy and business development. Ankit began a career in sales as an engineer in Western India after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
