Brian Coate

Brian Coate is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Senior Vice President & General Counsel at Hyperion Materials & Technologies since July 2018, Brian previously held the position of Vice President, Legal for Rolled Products at Aleris Corporation from May 2005 to July 2018. Prior to that, Brian worked as Associate Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at Cleveland Clinic, dealing with diverse corporate matters from 2003 to 2005. Brian's career began at Squire Patton Boggs, where Brian was a Senior Associate in the International Corporate Department from 1995 to 2003. Brian earned a JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from Miami University.
