Jerome Cheynet

Jerome Cheynet has extensive work experience in the materials and technologies industry. Jerome is currently the Director of Global Business Development at Hyperion Materials & Technologies since May 2020. Previously, they held the role of Global Marketing Director at the same company from January 2019 to April 2020. Before joining Hyperion, Jerome was the Managing Director at Hyperion Materials & Technologies Germany GmbH from July 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Sales Director for the EMEA region at Sandvik Hyperion - Sandvik Tooling Deutschland GmbH from January 2014 to December 2018. Jerome also worked at Sandvik Hard Materials - Sandvik Tooling Deutschland GmbH, where they held various positions including Sales Director EMEA, Sales Manager West Europe, and Marketing & Sales Manager, from August 2002 to December 2013. Jerome began their career at Sandvik in 1989 as an R&D Engineer and later became a Technical Manager, responsible for supporting the sales organization in North America.

From 1984 to 1987, Jerome Cheynet attended Grenoble INP - UGA, where they pursued a degree in Diplome Ingenieur Grandes Ecoles. During their time at the institution, they focused their studies in ENSEEG and ENSIMAG.
