Timothy Dumm has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of abrasives. Since 1989, Timothy has served as R&D Manager at Sandvik Hyperion, overseeing a team responsible for the development and qualification of new diamond powder products and manufacturing processes. Concurrently, Timothy also holds the position of R&D Manager in abrasives at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, focusing on industrial diamond and super hard materials. Earlier in the career, Timothy worked as a Mining Engineer at Plateau Mining Company from 1982 to 1983. Timothy earned a PhD in Mining and Mineral Processing from Penn State University between 1986 and 1989.
