Costas Soler

Cofounder, Chief Technology Officer at Hyperkelp

Costas Soler has a diverse and impressive work experience. In 2021, they became a Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of HyperKelp, Inc. and also took the company through the 2021 Techstars Space Accelerator program. In 2018, they founded Blue Dot Underwater Drones, where they developed underwater drone kits and wrote an Android app in Java. In 2019, they worked as an Academic Manager at Franklin Educational Services, Inc., where they communicated STEM topics to students and taught them time-management skills, SAT strategies, and math and physics skills. In 2020, they were a Marine Technology Intern at Swift Engineering, Inc. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. In these roles, they led observation nights, processed data, developed software, and taught astronomy, physics, and chemistry. Costas also worked as a Research Photographer.

Costas Soler completed a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Astrophysics and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Marine Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley between 2015 and 2019.
