Gareth Winfield

Gareth Winfield is a seasoned financial services consultant with extensive experience in product development and management within the financial sector. Currently serving as a Financial Services Consultant at Hyperlayer since January 2025, Gareth focuses on developing a white-labeled account and card program for a major UK partner. Previously, Gareth held the role of Managing Director of the Credit Card business unit at Amplifi Capital from April 2021 to December 2024, where responsibilities included launching and managing the unit. Earlier positions include Product Director at Barclays, overseeing mobile payment product development, and Vice President at Barclaycard, leading digital product initiatives and strategic management of card portfolios. Gareth’s career spans various roles in prominent organizations such as Capital One and includes a degree in Ergonomics from Loughborough University.
