Richard Rose is an expert in front office trading technology and serves as the Head of Engineering at Hyperlayer since 2024. They previously held the position of CTO at Cabestan Quant Research Limited, where they led the development of a cross-asset algo trading platform. Richard's extensive freelance experience includes consulting for major firms such as Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Merrill Lynch, focusing on trading systems and message frameworks. They have contributed to the industry as the founder of Low Latency Trading Limited and as the author of the open-source SubMicroTrading system.
