Chuck Michael, PE, is the Head of Infrastructure & Regulatory Affairs at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc., a position held since 2015. With extensive experience in engineering, science, and technology, Chuck has previously served as Vice President at Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. from 1987 to 1997 and as a Principal Engineer at the Sanford Underground Research Facility from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, Chuck was a Principal at a consulting engineering firm from 1998 to 2019 and managed projects for the High-Speed Passenger Rail Program between 2012 and 2016. Chuck is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
