Shelby Phillips

Shelby Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shelby is currently the Head of U.S. Public Affairs & Strategic Ecosystem Advancement at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. Shelby has been with the company since September 2022. Prior to this role, Shelby served as the Head of Executive Staff & US Public Affairs Lead at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies from May 2017 to September 2022. Before joining Hyperloop, Shelby founded and managed their own businesses, including ShelbyPhillipsConnects.com, where they were the Queen of Connection, and Shelby Phillips Promotions, where they worked as an Entrepreneur. In their role at Shelby Phillips Promotions, they achieved significant revenue increases for their clients and was involved in various marketing and event projects. Shelby has also worked in the entertainment industry, both as an actress and on-camera host, at companies such as Shelby Phillips Entertainment. Shelby has experience in producing children's theater and has a background in musical theater. In addition, Shelby has worked as an Expert Party Designer and TV Host at YouCanPlanAParty.com, a project by Potluck Productions, where they developed a popular web series and authored three books on party planning. Shelby also co-authored a book series called "The Enlightened Party Planner: Guides to Creating Parties from the Heart". Earlier in their career, they were a Partner at Potluck Productions and served as the Executive Director at Gayle Stewart Enterprises, where they managed trade and professional non-profit associations.

Shelby Phillips has a diverse education history. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Saddleback College, where they studied Theater Arts. In 1991, they had a brief stint at Irvine Valley College, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. From 1994 to 1999, Shelby attended the Institute for Organizational Management, earning a degree in Non-profit Management and obtaining the IOM Graduate Recognition from UCLA in 1999. In 1999, they also received a certification for their degree. In 2012, Shelby pursued Intuitive Communication at True Insight Spiritual Center, and from 2015 onwards, they have been studying Kinesiology & Wellness at El Camino College.
