Richard Bell

Richard Bell currently serves as the Head of Security Operations at Hyperoptic since January 2024, following a role as Senior Manager in Cyber Security Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Regulations. Previously, Richard held the position of Head of Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance at Micro Focus from April 2020 to January 2024, and was the Head of Government Security Compliance & Trust at OpenText. Prior experience includes serving as Director for TenIntelligence in the UK and UAE, and Chief Information Security Officer at Transport for London from February 2004 to September 2017, along with various roles in security auditing and planning. Richard was also a Non-Executive Director at The Security Institute from March 2012 to March 2015.
