Matthew Messa has over four years of professional work experience. In 2020, they were a Senior Engineering Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Hyperproof. In 2019, they were a Software Development Engineer II at Smartsheet, where they led the design and implementation of Grouping & Summary, one of Smartsheet's most important flagship goals for FY2020. From 2016 to 2019, they were at SAP Concur, where they held the roles of Software Design Engineer III, Software Design Engineer II, and Software Design Engineer. As Software Design Engineer II, they lead development on a new Kotlin Spring Boot web service and rewrote it in Golang. As Software Design Engineer, they designed and lead development on a Java library. As Software Development Engineer Intern, they built out a new profile page in C# on the .NET MVC Framework.
