Justin May

Aerospace Structural Engineer at HyperSizer

Justin May began their career in 2003 as a Technician at Tops and Trends. Justin was quickly promoted to Lead Technician and then Shop Foreman. In 2021, they joined Collier Aerospace as an Aerospace Structural Engineer. In addition to their engineering duties, they also trained on Collier Aerospace's HyperX software for stress analysis and sizing optimization of aerospace structure design. Justin also wrote and revised technical documentation and best practice processes for customers, as well as performed finite element analysis pre/post processing.

Justin May began their educational journey in 2017, when they attended Wake Technical Community College and earned an Associate's degree in Engineering. Justin then transferred to North Carolina State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2021. In 2022, they completed an Accelerated Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University. Justin also holds certifications for a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, both obtained in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
