Global Sales Director at Hypertec Group

David Renteria has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. David started their career in 2003 as a Senior Account Executive at MBS Business Systems, where they built a strong sales territory and consistently exceeded sales quotas. David then transitioned to the role of Branch Sales Manager, overseeing sales and operations in the Bay Area. During this time, they implemented innovative uses of technology to improve workflow needs and designed targeted sales campaigns.

In 2017, David joined Pacific Office Automation as a Field Sales Manager. Alongside meeting their own sales targets, they collaborated with clients to enhance their business workflow through technology and provided leadership and guidance to the sales team. After that, they joined Ray Morgan Company as a Sales Manager, where they quickly rose to become the top-ranked sales leader in the company. David implemented a value selling strategy and paired SaaS, cybersecurity software, and IT solutions to meet client needs.

David's next role was at AIS-NOW as a Sales Manager, where they transformed an underperforming division into one of the company's most profitable. David achieved significant sales growth and expanded the staff by 350%. David was later promoted to Sales Director, overseeing all sales initiatives and planning for the California market.

In 2022, David became the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ELEFense, where they designed the global sales strategy and used Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and NLP to help organizations identify trends and anomalies in company culture. Currently, they are the Sales Director for the US West Coast at Hypertec Group.

Outside of their corporate career, David played a significant role as the President & Chief Operating Officer of the Salinas Spartans Semi-Pro Football Organization. David collaborated with the team to establish a strong brand presence, market the team, and deliver an exceptional experience for the players and fans. The organization achieved national recognition as the #1 team in the country and won two Semi-Pro Football Championships. Giving back to the community is important to David, and they have expressed a commitment to continue doing so in the future.

David Renteria's education history includes attending California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2003, they attended Hartnell College and studied Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they obtained the "Certified MNS Managed IT Sales Certification" from CharTec, LLC. In July 2019, they obtained the "Advanced Endpoint Security" certification from HP. More recently, in 2023, David received several certifications including "GPT-4: The New GPT Release and What You Need to Know," "Generative AI for Creative Pros: Opportunities, Issues, and Ethics," and "Server Administration Essential Training" from LinkedIn. David also obtained the "Hyperconverged Infrastructure" certification from Intel Corporation in June 2023 and the "NVIDIA AI Sales Curriculum" in June 2023. Lastly, in May 2023, David obtained the "On-Premise Storage Fundamentals" certification from Intel Corporation.
