John Scott

John Scott has a diverse work history that spans over three decades. John began their career at Septodont as an Accounting Manager and Controller, where they worked for six years. Afterward, they moved on to W.L. Gore & Associates, where they held various roles, including Plant Controller, Senior Financial Analyst, and Global Financial Leader for the Electronic Products and Performance Solutions Divisions. John also served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and played a crucial role in implementing SAP S/4 Hanna at the company. In addition to their corporate experience, John worked as an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University for over a decade. Currently, they are serving as the EVP and CFO at Hypertherm Associates.

John Scott obtained an MBA from Wilmington University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware, completing their studies from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their degrees, John also holds a certification in "Measure What Matters (Blinkist Summary)" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2023.
