Ken Woods is an experienced engineering team leader at Hypertherm Associates, currently overseeing engineering efforts since 2026. With a strong background as a Principal Engineer from 2007 to 2026, they were involved in industrial fiber laser design and cutting applications development. Previously, Wood held the position of Engineering Manager at Hypertherm, Inc. from 2000 to 2007, where they contributed to the development of the laser cutting head business unit, and they began their career as a Research and Development Engineer from 1995 to 2000, focusing on laser cutting applications. Ken earned a PhD in Physics from Dartmouth College and a BA in Physics and Math from Bowdoin College.
