Reid Jackson has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. Reid began their career in 2012 as the Co-Founder and CEO of Verdict, an iOS software that allowed pictures to be sent to friends and anonymously liked or disliked. In 2015, they Co-Founded and served as CEO of Negotiable Software, an enterprise software platform to allow individuals and organizations to seamlessly negotiate multiparty deals and form legally-binding contracts. In 2016, they Co-Founded and served as CEO of Pronto Systems, the fastest delivery service in the world.
In 2017, Jackson joined Ridge Ventures as a Deal Scout and Investment Team member, where they reviewed incoming dealflow, helped to build a dealflow analysis tool, met with entrepreneurs and portfolio CEOs and evaluated dozens of startups. In 2018, they became a Venture Capital Investor at OpenOcean, a venture capital firm run by the founders of MySQL. In 2019, they joined PassFort, a Moody's Analytics company, as a Board Observer.
In 2021, Jackson joined Luminar Ventures as an Investment Manager, and in 2022 they became Board Deputy Director at Muninn and Board Director at Hypertype.co. Reid is currently also a Board Director at xNomad.
Reid Jackson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, they completed IGCSEs and A-Levels from the City of London School.
