Jaco Jacobs is a Chief Operating Officer at Hypervision Surgical, where Jaco leads operations and regulatory efforts for the development of hyperspectral imaging systems for surgical use. In addition, Jaco holds positions at King's College London, Ultromics, and previously at Perspectum Diagnostics Ltd. Jaco's extensive background includes roles as a Software Engineer at Netcall Plc and Factum Radioscape, as well as a Test Analyst at SQS Group. Jacobs holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Software Engineering from the same university, and a BEng in Computer Systems from Stellenbosch University.

Hypervision Surgical Ltd is a spin-out company formed from King's College London and was founded by a team of clinicians, medical imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) experts. Based on safe light alone, our goal is to equip clinicians with advanced computer-assisted tissue analysis for improved surgical precision and patient safety.
