Samantha Rollins

User Experience Researcher at HyperX

Samantha Rollins has a diverse work experience. Samantha currently works at HP as a User Experience Lead, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they also held the role of User Experience Researcher at HP, starting in June 2021.

Before joining HP, Samantha worked at HyperX starting in August 2020 as a User Experience Researcher. Samantha also worked at Kingston Technology as a User Experience Researcher from August 2020 to June 2021.

In 2019, Samantha worked at Applied Medical as a UX Designer from August 2019 to August 2020. Samantha also had a role as a User Experience Intern at Applied Medical from June 2019 to August 2019.

Prior to their work in the tech industry, Samantha worked as a Production Assistant at Empire Media from January 2015 to January 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Videographer from September 2013 to June 2015, providing videography and editing services to various clients.

Samantha has also gained research experience. Samantha worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant on the PERVADE project from September 2018 to February 2019, where they examined the definition of "vulnerable populations" in online research. Samantha also had an internship at Kingston Technology as a User Experience Research Intern from April 2019 to June 2019.

In 2018, Samantha had an internship at Applied Medical, where they worked as a User Experience & Information Technology Intern. Samantha'sresponsibilities included finding solutions to usability issues on the company's website, organizing training presentations, and analyzing telecom-related projects.

Furthermore, Samantha has a passion for music and played the cello in the Orange Coast College Orchestra from July 2015 to August 2016.

Samantha Rollins completed their high school education at Esperanza High School from 2011 to 2015, earning their High School Diploma. Samantha then pursued further education at Orange Coast College from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mathematics. Samantha continued their academic journey at UC Irvine from 2017 to 2019, where they achieved a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics.
