Simone Romano

Simone Romano has worked for several companies since 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at the Università degli Studi di Milano in various roles, including Postdoc Research assistant, PHD Student, Research Assistant at the Neuroendocrinology Unit (Prof. R.C. Melcangi), and Internship in the laboratory of Neuroendocrinology (Prof R.C. Melcangi). In 2016, they began working as a part-time professor at Istituto d'Istruzione Secondaria Superiore "James Clerk Maxwell". From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Southern California and I.I.S. Galileo Galilei Crema. In 2018, they began working at Ospedale San Raffaele as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Since 2019, they have been working at Hyris Ltd in various roles, including Product Specialist, post market manager, and Project Manager.

Simone Romano completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano in 2006-2010. Following this, they completed a Master degree in Drug Biotechnology from the same university in 2011-2013, with a focus on Neuroscienze. Lastly, they earned a PhD in Integrative biomedical research from Università degli Studi di Milano in 2014-2016, with a focus on Neurobiology and Neuroendocrinology and metabolism of central nervous system. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Animal Handing from Istituto di ricerche farmacologiche Mario Negri.
