Rom Cohen is the CIO and co-founder of Hyro, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence company. Rom is a graduate of Cornell Tech, where they were a runner-up in the Startup Awards and recipient of the James H. and Marilyn H. Simons Graduate Fellowship. Prior to Hyro, Rom worked as a software engineer at Turbonomic, where they led the development of the company's hybrid-cloud offerings and designed and implemented integrations with private and public clouds. Rom was awarded the "Most Valuable Player" award in 2017. Rom's experience and expertise in artificial intelligence and big data applications make him a valuable asset to Hyro.
Rom Cohen has a Master of Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science from The Hebrew University. Rom was first runnerup in Cornell Tech's Startup Awards and recipient of James H. and Marilyn H. Simons Graduate Fellowship. At The Hebrew University, Rom was a CS Department student recruiter, mentor for the Hello Freshmen Program, and a Student Council member.
