Nick Rice has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Nick currently serves as a Principal Balance of Plant Engineer at Hysata since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BOC South Pacific as an Automation Systems Engineer from November 2020 to November 2022. Before that, they held various positions at BOC UK & Ireland, including Principal Process Control Engineer, Leading Process Control Engineer, Senior Process Control Engineer, and Process Control Engineer from 2013 to 2020. Nick started their career as a Process Engineer at Afrox from January 2011 to December 2012, after working as a Bursar from January 2007 to December 2011.
Nick Rice completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2006 to 2009.

Hysata is working on creating a new type of hydrogen electrolyzer.
