Ciaran Roe is a seasoned professional in the energy and commodities sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at HySights since April 2024. Prior to this, Ciaran held various leadership roles at S&P Global Commodity Insights from March 2011 to April 2024, including Global Director of LNG, where responsibilities included managing a global team of LNG pricing specialists and overseeing key Platts LNG benchmarks. Ciaran also served as Global Manager of Metals Pricing, focusing on the development of new Platts benchmarks across metals and mining, and as Market Development Specialist for oil. Beginning a career in journalism as an Associate Editor and Reporter at Metal Bulletin, Ciaran has a Master of Arts degree from The University of Edinburgh and pursued additional education at multiple esteemed institutions, including the National University of Singapore and City, University of London.
