Igor Kovacevic

Igor Kovacevic has a strong background in the field of sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems. Igor has worked in various positions, including as a Research Engineer and Functional Analyst at Hysopt since February 2023. Prior to that, Igor was an Independent Business Owner at Vilusi Energy starting in January 2023.

From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Research Engineer at i.LECO. Before that, from 2017 to 2019, Igor worked in the Research and Development department of Enervalis.

In 2016, Igor co-founded Barsolar d.o.o and served as the CEO until 2019. Additionally, they were a self-employed consultant in sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems from 2013 to 2017.

Igor's earlier experience includes being a Visiting Researcher at KU Leuven in 2015, Head of Department for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources at the Government of Montenegro from 2008 to 2012, and a Research Scientist at the University of Nova Gorica from 2003 to 2007. Igor started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Zetagradnja from 1998 to 2000.
