Arie Irman is a Group Leader of Laser-Electron Acceleration at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), a position held since 2015. They completed a Postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Twente from 2009 to 2010. Arie earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Twente, where they also received a Master of Science in Physics. Their foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung, completed in 2002.
