Ad Vrolijk is a seasoned professional in plant breeding, having earned an MSc in plant breeding from Wageningen University & Research between 1995 and 2000. From 2001 to 2011, Vrolijk served as a Plant Breeder for Triticale at Lantmännen, where they managed a breeding program across Europe and coordinated variety introductions. Currently, Vrolijk is the Program Leader for Hybrid Potato Breeding at HZPC, responsible for developing a hybrid breeding approach for potatoes and leading strategic developments aligned with market needs.
