John Thijssen

John Thijssen currently serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at HZPC since February 2025 and has been the Chairman of the Board at Barenbrug Holding B.V. since July 2013, where responsibilities include determining strategy and overseeing operations in the Northern Hemisphere, as well as developing new business and strategic alliances. Prior roles include President/CEO of Barenbrug USA Inc. from January 2005 to June 2013, Managing Director of Barenbrug Holland BV from August 2002 to December 2004, and various positions within Barenbrug from 1994 to 2002. Additional experience includes a role at Nutreco and customer service at Nederlands Rundvee Syndicaat. Academic credentials include executive education at Erasmus, INSEAD, Harvard Business School, and Purdue University, culminating in a BSc in Dairybusiness from HAS Green Academy.
