I Am Maestro LLC

At I Am Maestro LLC, we believe in the transformative power of music and art as catalysts for wellness and personal growth. Founded by Riko “MaestroRiko” Morrissette, our mission is to bridge the ancient wisdom of sound healing with modern therapeutic practices, creating innovative experiences that enhance mental health and well-being.

What We Do: We specialize in wellness-based art programs that integrate music, creativity, and technology to foster healing and connection within communities. Our signature initiatives, such as 808s & Meditate—Atlanta’s first digital sound bath—and The Art of Play program, offer inclusive arts engagement that caters to diverse populations, including memory care communities.

Our Approach: By combining artistic expression with research-backed methodologies, we explore the effects of sound frequencies on mental health, collaborating with institutions like the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH). Our projects aim to answer pivotal questions about the mind-body connection, contributing valuable insights to the fields of music therapy and holistic health.

Community Impact: We are dedicated to fostering environments where art and wellness intersect, empowering individuals and communities to explore their creative potential. Through workshops, performances, and immersive experiences, we invite participants to engage with their inner selves and promote emotional well-being.

Join Us: As advocates for the inclusion of artists in clinical and academic discussions, we strive to bring the voices of creative professionals to the forefront of research, technology, and policy-making. Our vision is to create a world where art and science coalesce to inspire positive change, harnessing the healing power of music to enrich lives.
